We just completed another huge spherical lens! This 20″ huge piece has an almost 3″ center thickness. Made of Fused Silica, it is incredibly heavy. Just to give a little idea of how big it is, I placed a 4″ lens next to it. The polishing came out great, with a 1/4 figure over a 2″ area.
